Purchases & use
Proof of Life Audio is operated by Austin Mink. Business mailing address: 9722 Gaston Rd Ste 150 PMB 1054, Katy, TX 77494, United States. We sell digital audio software; no physical product is shipped. Prices are in US dollars unless checkout states otherwise. The amount due, including applicable taxes and discounts, is shown before payment in Stripe Checkout.
Your purchase permits you to install Governor on computers you own or control for your own music and sound-design work, including commercial projects. You may use the audio you create in your projects. Do not redistribute the installer, resell copies of the software, or share download links publicly. This release does not require a license key or online activation.
Only the features and formats listed on the product page are included. Future products or features are not part of the purchase unless expressly offered. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Delivery & installation
Stripe processes payment. SendOwl provides the secure download links by email to the address entered at checkout. Your order includes Mac and Windows packages and installation instructions. Check your spam folder and contact us if your download email is missing or a link has expired.
Governor requires macOS 12 or later (Intel or Apple Silicon), or Windows 10 or later (x64). It is an audio effect that needs incoming sound. VST3 and standalone are available; AU is included on Mac, with host testing still in progress.
The Mac package is unsigned and not notarized, and the Windows installer is not publisher-signed. Manual approval may be required. Restricted computers may prevent installation. Read the installation instructions before installing.
7-day money-back policy
Request a refund within seven days of purchase for any reason, including installation difficulties. Email support@proofoflifeaudio.com with your receipt or order number and the email used at checkout.
Approved refunds return to the original payment method. Processing time depends on the payment provider and your bank. Your statutory rights remain available beyond this voluntary policy where applicable.
Privacy
Contact: support@proofoflifeaudio.com. We use the details you give us to fulfill orders, answer questions, manage affiliate applications, and send newsletters when you opt in.
What we collect
Order and payment references, email and billing information supplied through checkout; contact messages; affiliate names, channel links, applications and referral records; newsletter consent and email confirmation records. Stripe handles card details; our website does not receive your full card number.
Hosting providers process request information for delivery and security. Form protection uses a short-lived hash of the request IP address to limit abuse. Referral IDs connect eligible visits and completed purchases; they do not include names or email addresses.
Services involved
Cloudflare hosts the website and its operational data. Stripe handles checkout and discounts. SendOwl delivers purchased files. Our email provider sends confirmation and account links when connected. Airtable organizes our editorial work and may be used to manage business relationships. We share information only as needed for these functions or legal obligations.
Choices & retention
Newsletter signup is optional and requires email confirmation. Unsubscribe using the link provided with your signup or contact us. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your information using the email above. We may retain transaction records where accounting, fraud prevention, or legal requirements apply. Other information is kept only as needed for the purpose for which it was collected and reviewed for deletion.
Our providers may process information outside your country under their applicable data protection arrangements. Depending on your location, you may have additional privacy rights, including the right to object to processing or complain to your local data protection authority.
Public purchase notices contain the product, a broad country label where available, and approximate timing. They never display customer names, email addresses, exact locations, or payment details.
Product activity notices
To show recent product activity, we temporarily process a broad country and an hourly protected identifier derived from the connection address. We do not store raw IP addresses in the activity ledger or use activity cookies. Activity records expire after ten minutes; viewing notices use activity from the last two minutes. Your own activity is excluded from your notices. We respect Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control, and declined optional analytics. Opening checkout is distinct from a completed purchase.
Affiliate terms
Applications require approval. An application or assigned ID does not establish a right to commission. The standard commission is 20% of eligible sales. Approved partners receive their payment arrangements before promotion begins. Links and referral codes identify partners; they are not automatically customer discount codes.
Eligible commissions are calculated on the product amount actually paid after discounts, excluding tax and shipping. The last eligible referral carried into checkout receives credit. Referral links are valid for 30 days; browser restrictions or declined storage may limit attribution. Self-referrals, fabricated orders, misleading claims, spam, and undisclosed paid endorsements are not permitted.
Refunded or disputed orders are held for review and do not generate an automatic commission. Commissions are held for at least 30 days; payouts are reviewed and issued manually under the agreed arrangements. No automatic bank transfer is made by the affiliate portal.
Clearly disclose your commercial relationship near each recommendation or link, and describe your actual experience honestly. We may suspend tracking for misuse. Contact us to resolve attribution or payment questions.
